I can not login to my platform!

We can neither! (No. Seriously. We can't. As long as you don't give us an invite.)

Wait - you suspect a bug. Nothing works? No login at all?

To be honest in 97% of the cases this is a failure from the person in front of the computer... Please check if you have spaces before or after your Mail-adress and password ans also check exact spelling. Did you use your last updated password? Did you update the new password in your password-store?

if nothing helps - get in touch. we can help you out.

A User of my platform lost his password!

No worries. Relax, because that´s quite simple!

Go to "User" >"Edit User" and press the button "Send New Password". Please hint in this context: the Link sent to the user is valid for 24h. Done!

Alternative: your user clicks "Forgot Your Password?" on the login page of your platform.

When changing user roles - does the user need to set a new password?

Nope.

How can I change my password?

By registering for any scoopa Platform you are asked to set a password. Please hint: Due to safety risks we never send passwords by Mail.

Now I want to change my password, how can I do that? This is quite easy. Please find inside "Users" > "Edit User" is a CTA button "Send New Password". You will subsequently receive a self-explanatory mail to reset your password.

What is the Auto-Login suitable for?

The "Auto-Login" feature makes the login obsolete

Auto-Login can be used to allow “single users” or “all users” to „click-through“ when receiving a new email from scoopa about a new file without logging in. Meaning that the user does not have to login but get automatically logged in when he clicks the link in the email (valid 3 times).

This is useful if user-accounts are not used by a single user but shared accross many, which do not always have access to the login-credentials. For example Master Control Rooms, Dispatchers or press mailing list recipients. This feature can be enabled under the “user settings” or under “settings” -> security for the whole platform and is disabled by default.
